Case Clamp for Seamaster Case 6546

All,

I have a 14k 1958 seamaster with the case reference GX6546. It needs a new case clamp- does anyone know what omega part number suits it? The movement is a cal 500. I've search Otto Frei and the case reference does not come up.

The case reference has been on sale in a couple websites, so not that rare. I figure there must be some compatibility with another case clamp from another case.

Thanks for any help!

Don- thanks, this resource is very helpful.

I did actually just remove the other clamp and it measures approximately 2mm long by 1.8mm wide (that width is sliding into the calibre 500, so I assume that is standard, the 2mm long is the length engagement the case groove).

The clamp is indeed bent at the case side.

Can't really help. Didn't find anything in my bestfit book, but I really bought it for crown matching

Jules Borel lists 3 based of the caliber 470

Prices probably not up to date

If two clamps. Remove the second and measure

CLAMP, CASE 2.0X2.4 BENT 1911/OME 470 $16.10
CLAMP, CASE 2.0X3.3 BENT 1974A/OME 470 $4.10
CLAMP, CASE 2.0X4.0 BENT 1974B/OME 470 $4.10

Don- thanks again. I've chased through all the alternative cases in this class and they all use the same clamp- 2.0x2.4 (which may include the total length and bend that I am not measuring). I can review the case references on line and see they are the same as mine.

Again, many, many thanks and happy friday 😀
