Hi guys,

was looking a hand seeing if this watch is of any value as it was handed down and isn’t in great condition but is it worth getting fixed up. Can anyone help out here.

thanks so much!

The stamping on the movement doesn't look correct, the C is different from the others letters. In other pictures of this model online, the unadjusted is in a different location and the font looks off.

This model doesn't appear to have a secret CARTIER but that doesn't mean the dial isn't wrong either as all 3 Ses in SWISS are different.

But that's just my off-the-cuff internet sleuthing. Only Cartier can tell you for sure. 😀

I wouldnt spend much money on it- does it run? If it has sentimental value and you want to wear it maybe a simple service would be in order

My suggestion is that this watch is so deteriorated, it is beyond a satisfactory restoration. By the time you acquire this one, and spend a lot of money trying to restore it, you will have spent enough to buy one that is in much better condition.i’d suggest stick it in a sock drawer and forget it.

Some people may hate me for this, but these are just fashion watches, cheaply made, just a few steps above junk, simply riding on the Cartier name.

PASS.

Boy! You cut to the chase, don’t you! But I agree.
