Cartier ladies watch- where to buy?

Not at all. Last time I was at Cartier ( getting this exact watch for my wife) we where discussing the quartz issue. The majority of women pieces sold at Cartier are quartz. Most, my wife included, rather not have to wind, or set, or care about the mechanics. She wants a classic piece that she likes and enjoys on her own terms and fυck a duck if I say something.

That said I just bought her am oyster perpetual to start converting her.
the one she wants is actually an automatic. She originally wanted a Datejust but then tried on a Cartier. Frankly, I also find Cartier much more aesthetically appealing on my wife's wrist. too bad she picked with the one with too many diamonds and gold, that will likely depreciate in value like a rock. Hence, my desire to be "cheap". (or I could be completely wrong. her Love bracelet from about 6 or so years ago was about $3500. today's retail: $8000. better than most of my stock picks).

My wife wants a Cartier Ballon Bleu. Know of plenty of great places to buy Omega and Rolex (such as this forum) but no idea where I can get a good price on a Cartier. No grey market and no used. she will definitely want to official warranty and paperwork. Any suggestions other than my local authorized dealers?

much appreciate any help.

She is now open to buying used. Any reputable used seller of Cartier you can recommend?

If she's open to use then get grey market. she get's them new at a good price.

Try Authenticwatches.com for example.

She's buying a piece of jewelry that happens to be a watch. And that is what she wants. For her whether Quartz or not she would not care. I know. Blasphemy around here.

I bought my wife a Cartier TF with mother-of-pearl dial and later a Jaeger Duetto. Guess which one she wears more often? Yes, the one she doesn't have to wind. Probably will end up selling the Duetto at some point. She could care less about horology, in-house movements, etc. The watch is a piece of jewelry and Cartier does a fantastic job with their bracelets, cases, etc. I was able to get our AD down around 10% without much negotiation, which I am not good at and hate to do anyhow. That helped cover the sale tax with a tiny bit extra thrown in.
