[cancelled] GTG in Washington DC in September?

I will be flying to Washington DC in September for business but will have a free day or two.

Might be nice to meet some of you there and spend some time with beers and watches. Is there anybody here located in Washington?

Am particularly thinking of Saturday evening the 23rd or Sunday 24th of September. Anybody? 馃榾

I am in DC (well work in DC), and would possibly be interested depending on how that weekend looks as we get closer.

I might be interested if I'm free that weekend! I'm a few hours south but I've got some train tickets to DC that I've been looking for an excuse to use.

I'm in Williamsburg and would definitely make that drive. Keep me posted, just for planning purposes I am a teetotaler (don't drink) but do enjoy coffee. I have no problem with others drinking, just wanted to let everyone know.

I'm back state side and can make it to DC easily. Would love to see your Steve McGarrett 5-O Speedy and what others have. Saturday evening would be best for me but Sunday works too.

I may be free on Saturday, before flying to Europe on Monday. I live in the DC metro and would enjoy meeting up over coffee or a glass of wine.

I think this is where we got stuck the last time a D.C. GTG was attempted. I wish I had some suggestion, but I don't.

The location is anyway something to define privately for security reasons I believe, once those who can join are fixed.

Keep in mind that we will need a somewhat private location. Can't have tens of thousands of $$ worth of watches just sitting on a table out in public on a Saturday evening.

Any progress? I'm sorry I don't have any ideas for locations, my favorite place would not be able to accommodate us with a private or even semi-private room. But I am still defiantly interested. And would love to actually meet some of the people I have been chatting with.
