The greatest movie by far!

Queued up to watch in Amazon Prime. It had better be good. Last change to amend your review before I press Play.

Sure, I'll play...

So many with, I believe, no mention of these pure classics...

Arthur

Night Shift
Trains, Planes, Automobiles

#1 is always, Pulp Fiction, with all of the rest following.

I'm sure I'll come up with more.

Maybe not a crime to not see this one, but it was one we watch many times back in the college days.

Anything with Robert Mitchum. Coolest mofo from the 40s/50s. I love classic film noir and no one's better than Mitchum!

So which The Big Sleep do you think was better - Mitchum or Bogart?

I don't see any Wes Anderson on this list yet... not all of his movies are winners, but it would be a shame never to see at least one. A few of my faves:

The Grand Budapest Hotel
Darjeeling Limited
The Royal Tenenbaums
Moonrise Kingdom

Speaking of Peter Sellers...

Would you buy a "Used Car" from this man?

By the way, $50 never killed anyone.

I've tried to count how many people get killed in Shoot em up, but I can never get very far - they get killed too fast to count...

Again a movie I'll watch to completion no matter what stage I find it at when channel surfing. I looked at carrots in a whole new way after seeing this one. 😉

Unbelievable that this is 70 years old. Kathleen Byron looks straight out of the present day. Demented, terrifying and worryingly sexy.

Great selection of movies here, just add one of my favourites which I don't think I saw listed "Good Morning Vietnam " with the wonderful Robin Williams, it still makes me laugh out loud even after many viewings.

And considering the times we are in perhaps compulsory viewing should be "All the Presidents Men"

I'm sure I could come up with more but these sprang to mind reading through the thread.
