Both are Mike Nesbeth work !

I think you mean Mike Nesmith...the Monkey...

😁

The Fifth Element (hence my avatar)

I have too many movies to list, but for me that list includes any movie that if I stumble across it while channel surfing on TV, I will stop and watch it no matter what point in the movie it is. The Fifth Element is most certainly one of those...and yes I recognized the avatar right away. 👍

That's a huge statement. I'm with you about alien(s) but I don't get why Robocop's so good? Maybe i need to revisit it.

If you haven't seen it since you were young, you definitely need to watch it again as an adult to understand what Verhoeven was really going for

Lots of movies getting named. One that hasn't yet and is one that I have watched many times is The Count of Monte Cristo.
I remember seeing a Breguet paper ad years later which referenced an extract from Alexandre Dumas' book in which Breguet is mentioned. I watched it again after seeing the ad👍

The Hitcher with Rutger Hauer was classic. Watched that one a few dozen times many years back. The finger fries scene is still one of the best ever (great date movie) 😁

If you are a Rutger Hauer fan, you must see Hobo With a Shotgun...

What makes the movie good is that C Thomas Howell's character does what would appear to be the right thing throughout and Rutger's character continues to come after him.

"This steak still has marks where the jockey was hitting it"

"You know what your problem is?"

"No, what?"

"You've never had anyone give you the Aunt Jemina treatment".

Two of my favorites.

The best film you've never heard of, or seen: Synechdoche New York. A Charlie Kaufman masterpiece. After that, Eternal Sunshine.
