    Hi

I wonder if any Omega experts out there can tell me the model number of this old De Ville.

    http://tinypic.com/r/200bdbl/9

It belonged to my late father-in-law and I'd be fairly sure he changed the strap and that it's from either the late 1950's or 1960's.

Any help much appreciated - model / value.

    Thanks very much in advance.

Sorry - I don't understand why you see that - when I click the link I see the image above... very odd.

From that picture it's very hard to give you any help @Miraboy, sorry.

If you take the watch to a watch maker, and ask them to open it, so that you can take pictures of inside the case back and the movement, you'll get help... until then... we'd be guessing.

@tyrantlizardex - OK thank you. I'm surprised at how hard it is to identify the model. Usually a quick Google images search does it, but I can't find anything even remotely similar. And it's quite distinctive in shape and dial markings too.

If you search Google with correct case reference number you will find your watch. It will help if you get the watch info from inside.

Rule number 1 of Omega Forums - repeating what someone else has said 2 posts back is not cool.

OK - I'll get it opened up and look for some form of reference number. Thanks Gents!
