Can you help me identify the approximate Year and Model of this?

Hello Omega Community,
I recently inherited this Omega wrist watch and I was hoping someone here could help me identify the year and model. The corporate logo on the dial is Morrison Knudsen, it was an architecture firm involved in the construction of the San Francisco Bay Bridge, The Hoover Dam, and the Alaskan Pipeline. It was my Great Uncle's, and now it's mine.

Nice Watch! probably I'm wrong but I guess the watch was made in the same year when the Morrison Knudsen logo was stamped on the dial.

My guess would be mid tot later 1950's, but pics from the inside would paint a far more precise picture.

Is that an American made case?
