I have seen this issue cause knickers to get twisted on another forum. If the price is cheaper than that which is generally available elesewhere on eBay or via the usual traders (such as those who confusingly post in the private sales section here) then why is it an issue? Would you expect all watches to sell below their RRP indefinitely? If so I will take any Ed White you may have and happily offer original RRP.
You can link a listing and question. Price, dial, case, seller, movement, hands and crown are all open slather in my book. (Doing it on a FS listing here is even OK as long as it's not inside the listing)
I hate to see things like this bought, kept in a wrapper / never worn. I'd love one. And it'd be worn regularly!
