I’ve noticed that some cases are marked on the back of the lugs with a small rectangular stamp. What is this exactly. Doesn’t look like any the stamps I’ve seen online. Thanks

 

It’s a gold hallmark. As to which one I’m not sure.

 

The caseback is marked 18k Swiss so wouldn’t it be the Helvetica stamp? It doesn’t look like it though

 

Might be an import stamp from when it was imported.

 

Possibly a lion passant ... is it a Dennison case?

 

No. I see them a lot but because of the size I can never make out what they are
