Oh, you haven't bought it yet? Perhaps I can help you. If that antique shop is close to me I could drop by and errrr, check it out for you perhaps.
This is really throwing me for a loop. I feel like redials are usually pretty obvious but this one seems to be riding the line of "good condition" and "possible redial". I just want to know if I have good value here.
Bad redials can be seen at 50 paces. Occasionally very good redials need to be seen in the flesh or at the very least multiple, hi res pictures.
If you have it in hand what’s the reference?
Have you searched other examples of the same reference to check font, spacing etc?
For that price you did great, it's a fine watch and hopefully this thread has alleviated any concerns you had about dial originality.
Wear it in good health (not on a bund as far as I'm concerned). 👍

Agreed- these don’t really work on a bund. Some of the more utilitarian style stainless watches do, but this is a bit dressier.
Yeah it is a bit dressier, just want to be able to wear it in more casual environments as well.
looking at other km6303 references, especially those with the rounded S like yours, shows that this unusual wide ‘T Swiss Made T’ is correct for this reference so you’re all good.
Fun suede straps (like you have) can really make a gold watch very playful. Bulang did a line of pastel suedes a few years ago and I saw their violet suede on a gold Connie (can’t remember where)- it was fresh and whimsical- not stuffy at all. I’m a big fan of brightly colored suedes (like cobalt blue or bright forest green) on gold- totally changes the feel of the watch
