Welcome Jacob. Dial looks fine- in fact is in lovely shape.
My curiosity came with the S in Seamaster. I know that some models and a different text and I was worried about that. Otherwise that’s great to hear!
The “hanger S” because it looks like a coat hanger. That was used prominently prior to around 1962, then there was the transition over to the fat bottomed S like you have.
Wow thank you so much! I had no idea. Thanks for welcoming me to the forum 😀
And we will need to see more pics of that lovely watch, including a wrist pic of course,
The fonts look great and first impression is it’s original. However, the ‘T Swiss Made at’ spacing as well as some of the minute track concerns me.
It’s probably the crystal causing this but I’d like to see it in hand to be 100%
Uh oh. I thought I was maybe in the clear.
Is that a suede strap? It pairs really well.
You likely are. Most people think it’s original, I just have the concerns listed above but they may be due to the aftermarket crystal with different curvature.

@Jacob Brueckman make sure all doors out to the street are locked and there is an armed guard at each one if you ever hand it to him 😁
Have I seen a dibs yet? Well in that case DIBS.
