Does anyone know the exact Name?
My picture recognition app tells me “Wristwatch" Sorry!
Based on the fuzzy pics I'd say Jaeger Lecoultre Memovox Lapis Lazuli Dial 18KYG.
Thank you for your help ... the watch is very rare ...
+1 JLC memovox
Wow, what a dial!
That is a gorgeous dial.
If you have a shot take it. Very rare and very precious.
The watch is in my possession ...
She is one of the few exceptions . My Collection is Omega oriented....
Was that dial installed recently? I remember seeing a few different NOS service replacement dials like that, and several other colors, on eBay a few years ago.
Then congrats .. I don't own a memovox but if I did it would be this one!
The clock has been in our possession for several decades.
I’d take that one over to www.classicwatch.com and ask Zaf about it; or maybe @gatorcpa can tell you, but I’m in the doubters camp with @ulackfocus on questionable originality.
IMHO, it's all good. Here's another one in 18K:
The only name I know for this model is "E855". I think these dials were either supposed to be this way, or the finish was defective from the factory. They are all like that.
Many more here:
And according to Zaf, the movement was produced 1964-65.
The finish is what it's supposed to look like.
I'm just questioning the dial being original to the watch. At worst, it's a factory service dial that was replaced relatively recently. At best, it is original. Those blue Lapis dials were offered as options by several brands. I have a Piaget Lapis Lazuli dial in my parts box somewhere.
