Can someone help me on authenticating this Seamaster?

    I know this is a terrible picture but it is all I have to go on...... I am very new to the Omega circle and I am looking to pic up a new piece. The seller sent me this one picture. Can anyone help me with it? Thank you in advance for your response and assistance. It is greatly appreciated.

    The whole watch looks wrong, there's no one thing to point out, every element of it looks like a low quality knock-off out of Asia

    It's a fake. The Helium-escape valve crown location should be higher and larger. Not flat

    Gawd, I come back from Thailand with a gift for the little laddy and he's got the nerve to question the orthenticness of that beautiful watch :mad:

    His Mum knows a lot about watches (among other things ;)) and never said nothin' when that bloke at the klong markets sold it to us, pity the box and papers got lost in the flood though :(

    Wow, even with my terrible eyes that is a horrid fake - I'm learning thanks to the gurus around here that often times the best way to spot a fake is not to look for tiny details, but to take a step backk and look at the piece as a whole. And that whole thing sucks ::rimshot::
