Can someone help me identify this early pocket watch chronograph caliber?

Sorry I have no answer to this last question, but since the thread is being revived I’m very curious, @Tire-comedon what did you find out from Longines?
Hope you’ve all been well.

No worries. This thread, plus the couple of links, are the only bits of information I have managed to find anywhere on the 19CH so I am also very curious!

As soon as the Longines Extract form decides to work I will also be sending a request to hopefully find out more.

Well I heard back from Longines Heritage very quickly and they provided me with some information:

‘The original serial number 656'062 identifies a pocket chronograph. It was invoiced in 1894 to the company J. Olivier & Fils in Paris, which was at that time our agent for France.’

I probably won’t get the full extract but it is still fun to know a little more about the watch and that the serial matches what I expected.

Longines confirmed the 19CH, serial n° 647288, invoiced on 21 may 1892 to the company Oliver, who was at that time Longines agent in France.
They spelled the distributor name as 'Oliver' and not Olivier, but I reading AHW's post, suspect it is Olivier.
That's all the info I have.

I wonder if this calibre was only sold in France? Although we only have a very small sample size. I purchased mine from someone in France so I would assume it has spent its entire life there. Quite cool to think about all the events it has survived since 1894 in France!

I posted about the 19CH on the NAWCC forum in the European section and there were a few more interesting points made for those who are interested.

Longines Heritage also kindly sent me a copy of the relevant pages in Patrick Linder, At the Heart of an Industrial Vocation. Hopefully it is ok to also share it here!

A follow up question. Does anyone know roughly what my watch would be worth? I cannot find any documented sales at all, but it would be good to have an idea before sinking money into repairs.
