Hi folks, I am a new OMEGA owner. Have own an OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 2500 for half a year, yes I was lucky enough to buy the discontinued SM PO 2500 in stead of the apparently bulkier/thicker PO 8500.

You know that SM PO 8500 has got sapphire-crystal caseback from to the solid one of SM PO 2500, and I am kind of interested in it. So, Have any SM PO 2500 owner tried to replace your solid caseback with that of PO 8500? Are these caseback interchangeable provided both are for 42mm version PO?
