it's like the sketch on "not the nine o'clock news" where the extras in a crowd scene find out they get paid more if they have a speaking role.

We do and their posts get deleted by the mods so their post count goes down.

Yep, or we delete their account if they're obviously spewing out crap to increase their post count.

It is a bit difficult to find I 'spose.

Only if you're blind, obtuse or refuse to read any stickies. I guess the latter refers to 95% of the newbies so that may be a problem.
