Can I please have some help identifying my vintage seamaster?

I recently inherited a small collection of watches from my late grandfather. One of them appears to be a 1960s era vintage seamaster but as I am an extreme novice, this could be wrong information. I went to a watchmaker who was able to open the back for me, and I am posting the photos I took. Any information anyone could provide about the model or reference number would be greatly appreciated as I am very new to this and have had trouble finding even the most basic information online. Thank you in advance. 馃檪

Looks like a vintage 60鈥檚 Omega with US domestic case made by Ross.
In the 50鈥檚/60鈥檚 Omega movements were often shipped separately and housed in locally made cases due to import duty and various licensing arrangements. This is the case here.

Thank you for that information sir, I greatly appreciate it. I understand that with the pictures I uploaded it might be hard to tell, but do the watch functions appear to be legitimate? I had someone on a separate site tell me that the plate wheel didn鈥檛 look original and that the screw in the upper right corner looked a little funny. I鈥檒l go with your judgement though.

A lot of people on the internet either don't know shit or talk shit, often both.

Your movement is a perfectly normal caliber 550.

I've found that to be true in Real Life, too.馃
