i bet that dial would clean up well and it might be worth bringing to a watchmaker to see what it will take to get it back running with hands and stem-crown assy. Is that an 18k gold stamp I see on the case cover?

I would guess just a bit earlier, maybe 1923. And I think the movement number and case number could be consistent. I am noticing that the head of the case screw seems to be slightly offset from the indentation in the case, which sometimes indicates that a different movement was previously in that case. But it's only a small displacement, so perhaps someone just replaced the screw at some point and installed the movement in a slightly different position? On the other hand, it is a bit jarring to see such a plain movement in such a fancy case. As you can tell, I'm quite ambivalent about whether it has been re-cased. Not a big deal anyway.
