Could anyone help me out. I don't seem to be able to decipher the reference number and the serial number on this watch. Also, the logo seems to be missing the iconc C's. Is that common for watches from this era?

the other smaller number 8861-1 ?? Yes, I understand, that’s correct the Certina logo should be cursive until 1953 it looks not that way be careful with Certina’s you see some fake dials around ask the seller that he send you a more accurate pic of the dial good luck !
