I don’t think it’s fake (at least I’m not seeing any red flags), but it’s in rough shape cosmetically—not just the scratches, but the crown guards appear to have been polished rather sadistically. Maybe fine for a daily beater if you can get it for a price that reflects its condition (like no more than $1,000 USD in my estimation, and preferably less). Just bear in mind, these aren’t rare: you can toss an $1800 dart in any direction and hit several that will look far better.

I guess let’s see if anyone else has authenticity concerns. I say just don’t overpay.

Open it up and see if there is a cheap looking generic Chinese movt or Quartz rather than an Omega movt with a serial number Omega can verify.

Thank you so much for letting me get a feel for the right price.

I am located in SE Asia and the seller is asking about $1150 for this piece.

Thanks!!

Thanks for your reply!
I will meet the seller and check the movement before getting it.

With regard to opening the case to check the movement, for what it’s worth, I wouldn’t attempt this myself—nor would I allow a potential buyer to do it before purchasing. A lot can go wrong. If it’s possible to meet up at a jeweler, maybe you can pay them a small fee to do it for you? And then have them pressure test the watch after the caseback is replaced.

Yes, you're right. I better first ask the seller if we can meet up at a jeweler and check the movement. If he says no, then I better give up this one. Thank you very much
