This is a photo of my father from the 1960s and I’m curious as to what watch he was wearing, if anyone can identify it? It seems to have a very distinctive hour hand including an O? Is it an omega and if so which one?

This could be a Jumbo Omega 30T2 with Pontife hands and Roman numerals.

Here's a similar example.

I agree with Stefan. The watch would not have been new in the 60s. I can also add that he is wearing it on a bonklip bracelet.

The style of the watch is late 1930s- or 1940s.

Wow….that makes sense though, that it would have been from the 40s. I think the photo was taken in the early 60s.
