I originally thought it was going to be an Indian special - but after looking at the picture I’m not convinced.

Go ahead and google oris big crown pointer date and you should be able to stumble upon some of your answers. Looks to be a 40mm case and cost around $1200. Although I didn’t see the exact dial configuration, I am sure you can dig it up.

Looks a lot like the Movember Big Crown 2018 year model but the dial has different legends. Could be a previous year model a couple of years old or more.
A fairly high dollar watch at around 2K for this years.

I was informed by oris ( via Instagram) it’s an old big crown, they didn’t give me any more info . I guess I’m out of luck

There are plenty of fakes around. They mostly are in the 7543 category, with the red rotor (which your photo doesn’t show) and all the fakes have the unique case number 26-58574.
I hope yours isn’t one of these.
Here’s mine, which came with the original paperwork

Mighty fine looking watch. Movement looks complicated, I suppose due to the date indicator mechanism. All compactly housed. A class act.
These seem to be highest grade tool watches. Meant for utility above all.

The reference number should be 0175475434064-0752053. But I've never seen one with blue numerals before, could the colors in the picture be edited?

No, but I was lucky. I only learnt about the fakes afterwards.

    But great watches

I don’t own this watch. I looking to buy one . Oris actually emailed me back and said it’s an older model with the blue numerals . So I’m assuming it’s rare.
I have a store who deals in Oris reaching out to their sales rep to see if it’s real, available , or anything else .

Never saw this type of dial. The oris big crown was my first mechanical watch...

Your numbers seem to have more of a blue than green hue ? Am I right?

I'm colorblind but I will ask my GF to take a look. Need to find the watch first. Did not wear it for a long long time.

You should email them back and ask for the reference number.
