Can anyone help to identify this watch?

I have a vintage Omega watch that belonged to my grandfather, he got it second hand some time in the 1950's or 1960's in Gibraltar. I have done some research online but couldn't find any information. Would anyone know something about it?

I serviced an Omega for a friend very recently. It would be helpful if you were able to provide photos of the stampings inside the case back, and also a picture of the mechanism (the movement). I’ll rely on the photos you have uploaded and compare the one I just serviced, with your images. There are minor differences in the dials between the two, but otherwise, they appear to be twins.

The one I serviced has an 18-jewel, calibre 30t2 movement with S# 10507xxx which would date the watch to 1944-45. Case model # 2505-3. Without similar pictures of yours, it is not possible to be more definite, but I suspect the two watches will be close to identical.

Appears to be an oversized model. 37.5 mm without the crown. As Canuck said. 30T2 movement.

Looks like an old refinished dial. Could be copied to the original design or just what the watchmaker had on hand

Thanks very much for the info, as far as I am aware the watch hasn’t ever been opened. I will try the suggestion of getting more info from within the watch as suggested.

To me this does not look like an 18 jewel movement - it is a 16 jewel one

You’re correct. 16 jewels. I didn’t have a loupe with me when I took the picture of the movement. Years ago, I wouldn’t have needed a loupe to read the markings.
