    Hi all,
i'm new to the forum and I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some info an a beautiful watch I have recently inherited. It is a very slim dress watch and has a 18k gold encasement and strap and face, and I think was made cira 1962.

It is not one I have seen anywhere else
    Movement #19099614

Any help would be greatly appreciated
    TIA

Not much to identify - the name is right on the dial: Genève. That's certainly a different look, kinda like the watch is waiting for the rainy season. :p

A picture of the inside of the back would be helpful and tell us more.

Either a special order or a Norman Morris creation for the US market only. A lot would depend on the gold content. 18K would indicate it was likely for Europe, while 14K would be for somewhere in the Western Hemisphere. Dial is likely solid gold, too.

I'd be curious to know if the bracelet was original Omega or not.

    Very nice piece,

    Hey thanks for your feedback

Not got a picture of the back but did write down a number from the inside of the back lid 14785 SC 61, and is also hallmarked 18k gold, the outside of the backlid is plain, there are no markings

It's definatley 18k gold as it is hallmarked near the strap shoulder

not sure, I think the clasp has definatly been replaced, there is no Omega logo on it but has been engraved

It really is, and the pictures don't do it justice. It feels so nice on :)

My extensive research shows that as the Montezuma model. It is made to resemble a terra cotta sundial...except gold.

Dude, I think that was made for the US market and is the Death Valley model.

Well, you have more experience, so I'll defer to you. As for you, marsupial boy, I'll thank you to leave my alcoholic mother out of this. Actually, she was more a weed smoker. Put that on your barbee and smoke it. I think someone got 7 years bad luck for mishandling that watch, though.
