Hi,

I recently bought a 1970s Seamaster de Ville possibly cas ~ C6865 houssine an 10xx movement. I need to have it serviced/repaired and took it to one place but they said it will take 5-6 months to have it ready, seems oddly long.

I'm looking for recommendations on places where I can take it. I'd prefer not to send it to Omega.

Thanks in advance!

If you find somebody let me know. I send mine out because my local guy here in Savannah developed eye problems, my guy in Jacksonville closed shop due to health issues.

Nice looking watch.

Been dealing with Lowcountry Horology (Bill McCoy) in Beaufort SC for the past 3 years.

Good work at reasonable prices.

Hope this helps.

Well, I sent it to Lowcountry Horology, Bill took a couple of months but has no way to get the parts needed so he sent it back, what's worse is that probably during shipping it stopped working so now it's completely out of order. Does anybody know of another shop with access to Omega parts that I can send it to?

Thanks
