How accurate is it running?
I didn’t set it too carefully when I got it but I’d say inside 2 sec/day after 2 weeks.

Not bad for over 100 years old but I’ll be working on that.

That's about what my Sangamo I'm wearing this week is running. After three days in the pocket it seems to be about -7 seconds in relation to my atomic clock. Which, is a rate I can live with.

Here is an old dealership wooden box from the Keystone Watch Case Company. It no longer contains cases only, I use it for some of my watches. Two of the layers in this box here:

That’s a treasure Erik. A few years ago I made a leather insert for one watch and use it on my night stand.

You can buy sheets to cork at your local hardware store and make slots for each pocket watch, and even have a couple layers with your box.

Although your setup looks quite good as is.

That’s a very nice box. I really should do that, but I seem to never have time. I have a few other ready made boxes for other pocketwatches, but it would be nice to make better use of the Keystone box.

It's a perennial problem for me, how to house PW's. I have a collection of some 40 plus PW's but no good solution for housing or displaying them. I came across a multi drawered glass topped small chest that would have houses approx 40 the other day but on closer inspection it had faux drawers what looked like 4 drawers and a glasses lidded upper compartment was really only 2 drawers and an upper, the search continues. I suspect I will have to actually make the small cabinet myself but at least that will make the choice of natural woods my own.

My pocket watches are stored in several places. The few that I routinely wear are in a box on my dresser. Up until this week I used two cheap cardboard boxes with fuzzy plastic inserts I found on Amazon awhile back. Now I'm using this box. The two large drawers I've made dividers for from el cheapo rulers and I think I'll line them with some left over green felt I have from when I lined the drawers of my machinist's tool box I keep my watchmaking tools in.

My watches that don't get worn are kept in old cigar boxes. I know a fella who sells cigars and he'll give me a box anytime I need a new one. These watches live in velvet bags or parts tins mostly, and they are divided up into watches that just need a service and those that are projects.

Nicotine and Pocket watches, all you need now is the smell of Whiskey and you'll be whisked off to 1895! ( well in your mind )

Yesterday, I went ahead and added green felt to the bottoms of the drawers. I think I'm happy with it for now. It's certainly easier to get a watch out of this than out of lidded boxes sitting one on top of the other.

1920 Hamilton 996 fresh from service. Replaced the mainspring and crystal. Hands are not original but in good shape.

I really like how Hamilton's motor barrel mov'ts look. And on top of that, the dameskeening on the 996 is just gorgeous. I really need to start looking for one in earnest soon.

I love the dameskeening on the 996’s. And they seem to be rather plentiful lately. I was fortunate enough to find two in the last couple of months for decent prices.

I like the 952. Based on the 23-jewel grade 950 and 950B.

I would like to wear my new 952, but locating the correct case screws has proved difficult.

I decided to hang up my Sangamo I've been wearing for the better part of a week and put my 1921 Bunn Special in my pocket this week.
