Calibre 3861 Question

Hello everyone - I wanted to ask a question regarding the 3861 movement that I am not sure if anyone has the answer to. I went to a watchmaker at an AD and asked if on the new Omega Speedmaster with the 3861 on if any gold was used in the movement. He got back to me stating no there isn’t, anything gold looking is actually brass being used. However he came with an observation that he himself isn’t sure about. The text on the movement itself that states Omega 3861 and the jewels etc., what is used for that? It is plated obviously but he said he’s not sure what is the material under the plating itself? Looking to see if anyone has the answer to it. And I’m asking this as due to reasons I can’t wear gold. Thank you for any help!

I took it that he has faith based restrictions against wearing gold.
