On an old booklet I found the text "Cal. 861/1". What does the "/1" mean? I searched the "Moonwatch Only" book and there are some variations of the 861 but there is no caliber named "861/1".

Which caliber revision is this? What years is this caliber used? Any ideas?

Aw the /1 just here because Omega inteded to have a later 861/2 movement? I never saw variations of this movement.

My initial thought would be that you should post a picture of this mysterious 'old booklet'.

I do not know, how the picture helps to answer my question (sounds a little bit that you are not believing me), but here you are. It is an instruction manual from (probably) the 90s.

I see. This is an Operating Instructions Manual.

I would ask Bienne for the reason why they printed 'CAL. 861/1' and '03008610' on it.

    Hi there,
I have bought my speedy pro in 1996 and I have the exact same manual. I guess it means it is 1861 calibre, but could somebody confirm that ?
    Thanks !
