I bought this one a while back just because it had one of the most attractive white Seamaster dials I’ve seen for a while and had it serviced about 6 months ago but never really wore it. It’s powered by a Calibre 501 movement and while similar to a 2846 I believe its a US market 14K Gold-filled case, there’s an engraving on the case back that can be seen in the photos but the case is in nice overall condition and I haven’t had it polished or messed with. The crown is and older replacement but I left it with that as its easy to grip and matches the gold color better than replacements would have. Shipping internationally $750US + shipping by express post, PM if interested.
Worth noting that this locally produced case has a screw-down caseback as opposed to the normal snap-backs of the Swiss cased variants Question: if it's a US variant, hasn't it got a cal. 500 instead of a 501?
I actually don’t remember but it was a one owner watch on a twistoflex when I bought it covered in grime after being in a drawer forever, all it needed was a careful clean and full service
Balkan if famous for "freestyle" custom fees. Once they tried to charge me 4x what watch was paid and worth
How is this still here when we get mediocre after mediocre EBay watches posted from people each day. Come on........Someone here named David has to have a deserving Dad.
4 or 5 years ago I would have bought this without even thinking about it just because it looked so good. (Those were the days it would be like Christmas coming back from a few week work trip.) Remember @dougiedude and a few other members were in the same buying spree mode in those days also.
