Cal. 321 setting issue...

Hello fellow horological marinaters,

I have a cal. 321 Speedy that I pulled out, and it winds just fine, but I absolutely cannot get the stem out to set the time, and I think it best not to apply the ol’ pliers.

Any thoughts on what a typical cause(s) might be, and the likely needed fix? Thanks.

I had a Breguet 3237 Chrono, almost the same movement a beautiful finished 320 (minus the 12hr register), same problem.
Do not force it.
Afaik mine was fixed by just a clean and the stem lubed ( dealer short cut). In your case it will be a full service .
