Watching The One Show tonight and and Mat Baker said Buzz was a guest tomorrow. Anyone aware if he is in London or is it a satellite link-up. Would love an autograph to go next to my 1969 speedy.

He's been back and forth quite a lot recently.

As far as I understand, he only signs copies of his current book, purchased at the retailer he's appearing at, on the book signing tours...

I'd imagine there will be a very long queue at Waterstones Picadilly on Saturday.

 

I've met him a couple times in New Jersey, why he was there I don't know, but anyway he's a real nice guy and funny too. Good luck with the autograph

 

Buzz Aldrin is originally from New Jersey, he grew up in the town of Montclair. He spends most of his time in Florida; when I saw him at a speaking event on technology in NJ last year he said it was most for 'tax purposes'. And he did not sign any autographs - I tried.

 

Just watched his appearance on the One Show. He made a couple of funny comments, but he didn't look well. Strange dyskinetic facial movements.

 

This was from 5 years ago. Great right hook. I also like his dual watch setup. Two speedies on the same strap. Pure Genius.

Skipping out on taxes... Yeah that sounds about right for NJ haha. As for the autographs I don't know, I saw him give a mother and her two kids his autograph no problem but that might just be because there weren't a ton of people around

 

I would think people get tired of signing stuff eventually.
