Buying seamaster 300m on mesh

I’m considering buying the seamaster 300m green dial, Does anyone know if it’s possible to buy it from the store with the mesh braclet rather than the standard or rubber one?
Is it a negotiation with the store? Has anyone had any experience with this or did you just have to buy it as an extra?

It's not possible. You could try negotiating with an AD, but its highly unlikely. The mesh isn't cheap and a "trade" would leave them with a "used" bracelet or strap that they world have to sell at a discount. It's a liability they probably won't want to take on. If not a trade, you're asking them to give you an expensive bracelet for free. At best, they might give you a discount. My AD was ready to throw in the green strap for free but I knew I would never use it so I declined the offer. I suppose I could have accepted it and then sold it, saving me even more money on the watch purchase.

I was actually thinking today, “Wouldn’t it be nice if Omega would just sell the watch head and straps separately, so you could decide for yourself which combo you preferred.”

Just like they did in the old days.

But I doubt it will ever happen. Afraid you are going to have to buy the mesh separately.

Haha yes, this would be amazing! I’ll probably get it on the rubber and the mesh separately then!

Not possible at all. My advice, get it on the bracelet and try an aftermarket mesh first. Then take it from there.

I bought one of the new 75th SMP and paid $800 for the mesh, both from an OB but no discount on either item. It’s ok though because it’s my new favorite watch and was worth the money.

I got 15% of both the blue and white dials from my AD. Bought the Mesh bracelet also from my AD but with no discount. It's spendy at over $700 but I love the quality and look.

I believe you will have to buy the mesh separately
