    hi there
    I still don't know why but I bought this watch(being the highest bidder)
    there are 2 pic. by seller

    and then (after two days)is what I found in my mail box 049.JPG 027.JPG .
    what do you think -good catch ?

    Certainly looks correct. For the meager price you did well. Have it serviced.

    It's quite a gamble to buy with that blurry picture. But turn out very nice. A good catch !!! (Take it with a healthy dose of salt since i am no expert at all on Longines ) Interesting green lume/tritium in hour and minutes hands

    EDIT: Correction, Dennis said it is good catch so it must be really good catch.

    oh, I've forgot to tell you how much -$215 was the winning bid.
    this watch looks awesome- made in 1967-68; stainless steel+gold cap ;not silver-white nor black but dark- GREEN dial with gold markers.
    green dial- back in 60'?!

    I believe this watch to be totally correct. I've seen others with green dials and hands from this time period.

    You did very well for the price. I'd be proud to own that example.

    Sometimes a gamble will pay off big-time.

    was i drunk on ebay?-yeaaah to help with those blurry pics.:)
    the watch will be serviced in next 4-5 weeks(my watchmaker is a very busy man but the best in town so it worth the wait)
    there are some numbers from inside-
    cal.431 17jewels
    serial#14532218
    reference#2924-431
    when you see the whole dial there's "SWISS" under 6 marker.
