Did you make an apointment and paid cash at the store? Also I noticed that HQ usually polished their Rolex before putting them on sale, is it their practice?
Yes, I lived in SF at the time and dropped into their store. My 16750 wasn’t freshly polished though it looks like it’s had a polish in its it time.

I am more than able to assist. Mostly everyone else mentioned above are great operations. Some have deceptive condition reports in my personal opinion.

stand up guy and I would suggest checking with him for used Rolexes. there is a fairly active sales section on VRF as well and it's well moderated to make sure no shysters operate. a nice no-date 14060 is not a rare watch and should be easy to line up thru mine and most any other dealer that has been suggested in this thread.
