Adding photos and serial numbers for posterity. EDIT: I will add the words swapped dial Longines tre tacche 35 mm so that this thread can be found more easily.

The two-tone white dial is serial number 6'445'415, order number 22'239, 39.

The black radium dial is serial number 5'695'847, order number 1960, 93.

Forgive me for saying it, but I would be very wary of sending $12k to someone on eBay with 80% positive feedback. All his negative feedback is given the response "it's because of coronavirus".

So the dials are incorrect, as the OP mentioned?
Starting with 5'695'847 (black radium dial), I find the dial to have an atypical design for 1938. Further, this style of dial can be found in the relatively common Longines DH watches from the early 1940s. See an example below.

As for 6'445'415 (two-tone white dial), the presence of "Swiss Made" on the dial is typically found on Longines that were originally invoiced to Baume in the UK. Given that this watch was originally invoiced to Ostersetzer in Italy, I find the dial to be a bit suspicious.

Supposing that Longines' archive mentions that serial number 5'695'847 should have a silver dial, and serial number 6'445'415 should have a dial with radium, for example, then I think it would be reasonable to conclude that both dials are incorrect.

Does the Longines archive have information on dials?
I have asked it several times for my watches, but only once was I given an answer that was not 100% sure.

Yes, there are some records of dial information.
