I dont understand this post. Thought we were talking about Chrono24 anyway, not eBay and Paypal.

You could offer Paypal when selling a watch via c24 or wherever you want, or a potential buyer might ask you to do so.

Yes, but he never mentioned Chrono24 and did mention eBay. Also, when I said I don't understand the post, I meant I was having difficulty following it.

Looking at a watch on Chrono24 from a private seller overseas.
The website does not offer buyer protection from private sellers.
Photos and provenance all seem legit. I’m curious if anyone has experience with private sales on Chrono24.
Any advise out there?

As long as you pay via their system you should be covered!
If still not sure, ask for PayPal as a payment method, even if he asks an extra fee for paying with PayPal. That extra money for paying with PayPal is worth it.
