Are you feeling let down by the introduction of Omega's latest X-33 Speedmaster? Perhaps you like the Mars X-33 but wish it weren't $6900 USD?

Well, today is your lucky day. For the low price of only $320 (plus shipping and handling of $15), you can own not only a reliable quartz movement with actual hour and minute hands, but also a piece of NASA history* [*recreated by Bulova.]

Facts: This watch is pre-owned and lovingly not worn but shoved in the back of a dark closet. It was registered with Bulova in 2019 in my name. The watch comes complete as It would have come to you back in 2019 if it had first been accidentally delivered to me and I had forgotten to give it to you.

If you receive the watch and notice a nick, scratch, or other feature that you feel should not be on an unworn watch, notify me within a day of receipt to arrange for a return. I will of course be annoyed but that's my problem.

I prefer Wise for payment due to low fees and ease of payment. If you have a different preferred method let me know. If you are not a known forum member, why not?

Note that the watch is in the Pacific NW so may have picked up a faint pine smell. At this time, US shipping only, as customs is a pain. (Yes, Texas is still considered in the US)

Pictures:

And as always, thank you to the OF and mods for making this transaction possible and for putting up with us.

Dave

There were just some guys taking about this model on Reddit. They liked it was a piece of “space history” at an accessible price. I think they are cool myself. I can also say without out any hesitancy Mr. PDX is a pleasure to transact watches with if my word Carry’s any weight.

No, it's not $3200. It's 320. You probably have 320 in coins in your drawers, seat cushions and car's glove box. If you stop reading OF for a minute and go look around your house, you can probably find 320 bucks right now and trade it for a new Lunar watch. It's practically free. Hell, inflation is eating away at your money. If you don't spend that $320 in odd coins, in a couple weeks it'll be worth like 25 bucks. You might be able to afford a large latte then. But for a little while longer you can still have a watch!

Hmm, maybe I should keep it. But no, that'd be greedy. It's still for sale. No, I'm not a saint. Stop it, that's too much! I put my pants on one leg at a time, just like any non-Bulova Lunor Pulot owners.

I wish I lived in the PNW, I'd have that fragrant Bulova in a heartbeat.
Of course I'd have to lowball you with an offer of AUD$320, and then we could haggle for a few days.

But I suspect my chance will be done in quick fashion, this won't last long.

There's some gorgeous watches for sale cheap in this private sales forum, like the Eterna matic and a bunch of 60's Seamasters. There's even a newer 1861 Speedmaster for under 3k.

I would expect people to buy those before this Bulova. And when they do sell, the seller is going to have a pocket full of cash and going to say, "what the heck, that bulova lunar watch is so cheap I should just buy it."

So this might be your last chance. I'll even pay shipping if you actually read through the post and ask for it.
