A day with a bad cold and my Bulova Commodore. It is one of those watches that looked good in the auction photos, but even better in hand.......an intoxicating purple/gray dial. I've never seen another dial with anything near the same color. Runs well, to boot.

That's a terrific looking old watch. what's the vintage?

Now you need a Hamilton Perry on the other wrist, and you can be Commodore Perry.

1943. It takes "art deco" to a new level. One feature that is kind of neat is the fact that there is just a tiny bit of lume applied to the small second hand.
