Broken tab on my Speedy MKII bracelet clasp

Hi folks, it’s been a while!

I’m currently in the midst of a month-long trip and the tiny locking tab on my old beater Speedy’s bracelet snapped off today. Lame!

I put the tab in a safe place in the unlikely case it could maybe be soldered (or JB Welded?!) back into place. Does anyone know whether that’s possible or do I need to start hunting for a new clasp section? (I can supply the bracelet number shortly if that’s of any use…)

Thanks for your help!

Yes, keep it. It can be laser welded back in place...

If it's like this one, aren't they pretty common?

Thanks, Archer! Do you know of any peeps in the US who could do the job?

Any good goldsmith or jeweller with a laser welder should be able to do this.
