I've been sort of passively watching for a decent, vintage broad arrow Railmaster. After seeing one in the metal recently, my interest is rising. I thought I'd post here and see if anyone is interested in maybe trying to work out a trade deal. I have a few Speedies. Maybe we can work something out.

Interested in broad arrow references only, nice vintage condition, but doesn't have to be perfect.

What's out there?

It’s easier to search a new Railmaster LE with same looks and dimensions than the original I believe. Good luck for your search.

I believe, yes. They are still being delivered and lucky man may still find one with a boutique or AD. I really don’t know if they are all sold out and off the resale market. An AD at New Delhi still has one for sale!

Mine has an horrible signature on the back, certainly previous owner first letter names... Like Peter Albert Frederich or something like that and the dial is damaged, with brown spot on it..That kill the value of course so I will keep it but good luck with your search!!

Gee..........These Railmasters have really jumped up in price recently.

Of course the OP was advised by a very well respected member Gemxxx4, (name in secret code to protect his anonymity) to purchase a Railmaster TWO YEARS AGO.

That being said, perhaps the OP should aim for the "Poor Man's Railmaster", the Ranchero. Unfortunately, a nice Ranchero now cost more than a Railmaster did TWO YEARS AGO. (I left out the part about the OP selling a REALLY nice Ranchero THREE YEARS AGO for peanuts)

Perhaps the OP would be interested in this ebay "Russian Ranchero". I'm somewhat familiar with the Omega Ranchero and I need macro shots to tell the difference. Really a good time to get in on the ground floor of this very collectible example.

Currently at the bargain, steal it, price of about $25 USD??
