Some of you may have noticed me mention that I "found" this watch last week. This watch was traded against my old Speedmaster II (I should never have done that, but the buyer really wanted the MKII and I've traded a lot of watches with him over the years); I wore it a few time; put it away; and, forgot I had it. So ... because it doesn't get worn, it's up for sale. Consider this my real effort at managing my personal collection.

This model was made (from memory) between 1999 and 20002. COSC certified chronometer with a 5000ft/1524m depth rating. Sapphire crystal; AR coating; screw down crown; unidirectional bezel ... basically everything you'd expect from a decent diver's watch. The full reference, should you want to look up the details (or price check me) is A17345/12738. The watch is described by Breitling as a 41mm case but by many sellers as a 42mm. Measuring the case between 10 and 4, I get it to be 41.51mm .... So take your pick. It wears quite large.

As you can see, it is a "full set". The outer is in all round good condition with some wear to the corners:

    Inner box is just fine:

All the papers are there as well as the hangtag. The original purchase receipt dated 12 July, 1999. IMG_20181023_0925302.jpg
The bracelet has had one link removed for fitting, and that is also included. The watch will currently fit an 8 inch wrist at the smallest and (bearing in mind it has the diver's extension link) will go over 9 inches with ease.

To the watch itself: all round, the condition is better than good. Near excellent. By that, I mean that there are some minor marks to the bracelet; one very small mark on the outer case near the 8 o clock position; the clasp is very clean and the only mark on that seems to be where the twin lock comes over. All these shiny and brushed surfaces are hard to photograph but you should be able to see everything below:

I think that covers everything you'd want to know but please reply in the thread if I've missed anything. That way everyone can see any concerns and the answers. If you want to barter over price or anything else, then message me direct.

To price: these seem to range from £1200 upwards as watch only and full sets are all around £1600. I don't aim to be greedy but it's also too nice to massively undersell, so I'll peg it at £1350 with insured delivery included. PayPal F&F Or Bacs is preferred.

Thanks for reading and thanks to OF and the mod team for the safe (as it can be) space.

Edit: reviewing the photos, that mark I mentioned on the case can't be seen. It is stupidly minor, but here's a super close up with a black background:

(Sorry ... I don't know where this last photo's come from ... I can't seem to delete it).

Let's give this a bump .... Looking for donations to Jimmy's ProPlof Fund. If the price is the query, then make me an offer.

Bump with a £50 price drop and still including free delivery ... the ProPlof Fund needs an injection of capital.
