ADDENDUM: As can happen at any time with a vintage watch that is overdue for a movement service, the watch is no longer keeping accurate time. A movement service is needed. The watch can be fully wound with the sub-registers and chrono working properly. Handset adjustment is very tight. I estimate that prior to my acquisition, the watch was stored in a drawer since the late 70s-early 80s. Now in 2022, the perfect buyer for this ‘69 Cosmonaute 809 will have their qualified watchmaker complete a full movement service upon receipt, and afterward this iconic vintage timepiece can be worn, appreciated and enjoyed for years to come.
