Flatfoot
·Breitling 806 Navitimer, Twin Jet logo, “Red Box 10” bezel and dial, ca. 1969. with Breitling mesh bracelet.
All original watch in nice condition throughout. Nice case and case back both still with factory finishes. Facet edges are all crisp, however they show some minor scuffs and dings as shown.
Dial and outer bezel ring both have the ‘red box 10”. Lume plots on dial are fully present and appear to have aged consistently with the hands. Some discoloration to note on the edge of the white outer bezel ring between 35 and 55.
Venus 178 movement is running strong with good timekeeping. It was last serviced in December 2017 at my watchmaker. All functions work correctly The movement is clean and all screw heads look crisp.
The Breitling Mesh Bracelet is a neat plus for this watch, and I believe it to have been fitted from new. It fits my 7 ½” wrist, and will go up to perhaps an 8 ½’ wrist with clasp adjustment. However going to a wrist smaller than 7 ½ will likely require shortening of the mesh, and I presume that work must be done by a jeweler.
Price is $4375 USD, reduced from $4850 exclusive of any transactional costs, delivered to the USA. Paypal F&F works well for me, and other methods can be discussed and mutually agreed to. Overseas shipment is also possible following a discussion and joint agreement. I accept returns only if the watch is mis-represented.
