The image below gives me the impression that the pushers are much smaller on the 321EW than your vintage... is that the case, or just optics? ditto with the crown...

...the distinct contrast between the black bezel and grey dial makes it look like an add on. need to see it under sunlight

Regarding the "grey" dial - so is the dial lighter than a standard production Speedmaster Pro in your opinion, or is it that the ceramic bezel appears darker in certain lighting than the standard's aluminum bezel... ?

Has anyone in the US taken delivery of the steel 321 yet?
Doesn't seem like it. I saw someone in Asia post a 321 on instagram.

Per my OB, 2 pieces came into the US early September and were allocated to VVIPs. Looks like it will be a while before folks without substantial spending history with Omega start getting allocations.

The one guy I saw in Asia with the 321 in SS also had a platinum 321 so he's probably a VVIP too.

on first impression the dial is lighter, the bezel is also darker since its ceramic. maybe it's the boutique lighting. anyway i'll do side by side shots when i pick it up next week.

Wtf 2 years!? Omega said they had the ability to produce like 1000 a year but at their current pace it seems like they’re doing 2 a month. If one ever hits the grey market the premium might be absurd.

Hopefully they will accelerate production, or they must have a really large backlog... 🤔😕🙁 I figured it is better to be on the list and wait, otherwise I may never see one.

Good luck. I would like to get one also eventually but I don't know if I want to pay a full deposit for some unknown amount of time. If they could say 1 year or less I would understand that.

Wow 2 years is crazy. Called my AD after reading that this morning and was told Q1 2021 without downpayment. Do you have any past purchases?

That's what my LA based AD mentioned. US OBs that took full amount as deposits are not able to get allocations yet. As of yesterday, I was told that only 2 pieces were delivered to the US so far. Not sure if the US based ADs can deliver.

I was surprised at the timeline as well. Yes, a couple of past purchases. Are you in the US, Q1 2021 sounds a lot better than 2 years. Where are you? I’m in Northern California.
