Sorry for resurrecting the old thread.

But what if after making it hack, and I leave the watch in the "hack" state for a long time? That means the seconds hand wont run at all. After pushing the crown closed, the hand would run again🤔
Back hacking requires you to hold the crown so not possible for the 321/1861 or are you referring to something else than the normal way to hack?

I used to think like that, however, when trying it in real life, sometimes I see I dont have to hold the crown after it being held for a few dozen of seconds.

Never experienced that on my Trilogy and El Primero's.

To be clear, because I saw you said:

Could it be broken or worn somehow if I made back hacking then leave the watch in that stopped state for a long time?
