x1.5. These pics are great. The watch is definitely interesting, and I can see why many like it. But for me personally, it is a bit too much on the dressy side. I own one dressy Speedmaster and I never wear it. If I had to pick a dressy Apollo 11th, my choice would be the 45th, as it is a bit less busy.
Great set of pictures. It seems that the sides have an old style bevelled profile... Thanks mate! S.V
@Longbow ...I enjoy the quality of your photos. Thank you so much for sharing!!! Did you take photos of the "build" of the caseback and bezel? I saw those photos on Fratello...!
^^ thanks for the comparison shot! The subdials on the 45th are fairly useless, but overall I prefer the simplicity over the 50th.
Great comparison. It must be said though, both watches seem to have a pretty visible milky ring. Could just be the photo, but it has been said elsewhere on there that recent Sapphire Sandwich crystals seem boxier than earlier examples and as such give a more notable ring. Lets hope it's the photo and this is less of an issue in the flesh.
Amazing pictures @Longbow! Thank you for posting these.. I personally find the Apollo 11 50th anniversary watch simply stunning! The gray dial with the moonshine gold indices go together so well... and the bracelet! A stunner!
Which is more than can be said for the WiFi connection. I think Deutsche Bahn gave the contract for data packet transport to DHL instead of Deutsche Telekom.
