That is not correct
That's what I said. The dealer I purchased from, Precision Watches in PA, says Omega tells them it's fine and therefore, it is fine.

It's not. If it was +4 I'd be fine. That's within spec. But -4 and and -6? Something is wrong.

Bypass the AD and contact an Omega Boutique directly.

Yes, unfortunately it is my location that is an issue. Eastern NC might as well be Siberia. How crazy that I'll be in Thailand in 17 days and within walking distance to a number of Omega Boutiques!

EDIT: I looked up my watch. Attached pic.

I'm not sure your watch is out of spec. The acceptable positional variation appears to be as much as 14s, and it's the "average" precision that must be in the 0-6s range, which may refer to the average of all the different positions. So I'm not sure you can cherry-pick a single position and complain that it's not in the 0-6s range.

I agree - the OP should read that great post from @Archer that I gave the link to on page 1. It's a great explanation of this.

Guys, I am not cherry picking anything here. I have had a consistent movement towards slower and slower time keeping, no matter how it left at night (crown up, down, laying flat, etc). What I just did was call Omega and a really knowledgeable service rep was fantastic in discussing the issue. I gave him all my time keeping history and he stated I should not ever be seeing -4 or -6. He was quite surprised and is having me fedex it to them in Jersey. He said -1 would be fine (I would love that accuracy) but that seeing a jumping around of -2 and -4 and back to -2 and then -6 shows a need for regulation. What really sprung out to him was that it keeps losing time on my wrist. Anywhere from 2 to 4 seconds in 10 hours. "Not even close to right" is how he explained it.

We will see what happens.

Eastern NC? Did you buy this at Finks in Raleigh? If so I know the GM there.

No, sir. The dealer I saw in Raleigh didn't have the Blue one in stock. I purchased from a dealer in PA (who gave me a very good discount).

Right about now I am wishing I had just ordered one from Raleigh since 2.5 hours of driving beats 10, but this is life.

But Fink's is an AD and you should be able to take it to them, with your warranty card, and they should take a look at it and send it to Omega Service for you.
