Definitely, however, the brand is "Speedometer Official" from "Luxury Products International." Sorry, I should have added a link to the pic stolen from the googles.

I don't do bracelets or bangles...not my style. I've been informed by multiple sources that I have no sense of style...and that's OK...I'll just carry on and have a good time doing whatever. 👍

File pic from a few days ago at the layover motel...

My wife frequently reminds me of my lack of style as well. Especially every time I go look for a clothing item like a cardigan or something similar requiring a minimum of colour combination abilities, so I just stick to the plain sweatshirt, T-shirt and jeans.

Mrs Fling has all of the style/taste phrases at the ready for me but her favorite is, "unsophisticated palette". 😁

That pic tugs at my heartstrings. The Chef got me through the lean years.

I admit I had never heard of the "Rolex anchor" until I saw one that accompanied a watch, like this:

(credit)
That looks like an accident waiting to happen...

An accident waiting to happen?
That ship has sailed, mate.

The Chef got me through the lean years too, which is why I'm no longer lean....

Pithy: http://www.businessinsider.com/the-goldman-sachs-elevator-guide-to-dressing-like-a-gentleman-2016-2
  • Other than wedding wings, watches, and cuff links, no jewelry. The only thing worse for a woman than meeting a guy she likes with a ring on his wedding finger is meeting a guy she likes with a ring on any other finger
Not so pithy IMHO, because
1/ we're talking about bracelets, not rings;

2/how does that man writing presume to decide what women like?
And from a Goldman Sachs "elevator"? Let him stick to what he knows best, ie riding elevators and / or finance, and not get into the business of dictating what women of taste think or should think.

I only wear the occasional, ephemeral wrist accoutrement, such as the MSG Delta 360 Club wristband, to maximize ostentatiousness. See this wristie thing is all about the braggadocio.
Pro tip: Think ahead... do not allow the gate attendant to attach the club-seat wristband to the non-watch-wearing wrist.

Sometimes I wear a bit of something as long as it's soft so as not to scuff up ole speedy.
Now the "why" comes into play in the conversation. The picture I posted was taken shortly after we returned from a trip to Costa Rica with my wife's brother and family. As a remembrance from the trip, all of the ladies, Mrs Fling, sis in law, niece and nephews g/f all purchased me a small bracelet to wear. Was a great trip and a very sweet thought.

You wear a Metallica t-shirt. That's all the style anyone needs 👍

I believe your style would fall under the category of 'normcore'

For me, it's diamond rings! Mrs. Canuck wears the bracelets in our house! I've seen too many pock marked watches, bruised from wear against metal bracelets!

Nope, but like you, I'm not a follower of fashion in any way, shape, or form. I'll admit it, I'm a late middle aged guy and no longer a member of the terminally hip.

How did I not see such quotable material when this reply was posted? 😁

One of these are on my wrist almost everyday. What is this sleek, stylish band you ask? It is a hair tie for one of my two daughters that are always in need of one, as their hair is constantly in their face. I buy em by the case. Incidentally, it also does a solid job of keeping my Speedmaster from sliding around too much when my wrist shrinks.

So....practical and tactical.
