I have this old 6466 (an Oysterdate midsize) that I wear quite often and I want to get a new bracelet. I really don't want to spend more than the watch is worth on a bracelet so I thought of getting a generic aftermarket and it seems most of them come with solid end links. Would SEL bracelets fit older cases, such as mine?

A contemporary Rolex SEL bracelet won't fit your Ref. 6466. Personally I think a better alternative is to go with a tan or caramel colored leather strap, perhaps by Bulang and Sons. It's a great choice and will work in harmony with your vintage Rolex. Buying a period correct bracelet will set you back at approximately the value-amount of the watch...not worth it IMO. If the lug width is 18mm you should be fine; if it's 17mm you might have to special order (you'll have to look into it). Good luck and show us pics when you've made your purchase!
